Clear Your Calendars...Plexiglass invitations
I love this business because you never know when and where you'll get your next client. A few years ago, I designed Charlotte's wedding invitation. Today she works at Bazaarvoice in Austin, Texas. They want to host dinners across the United States for their clients to show their appreciation. Because their clients are executives (think Presidents and Vice Presidents of large companies), they needed an invitation to really stand out. Right away, Charlotte thought of me (I'm blushing!).
She is a dream client because she gives me the details of the event and then lets me have full creative license. I started brainstorming and developed many cool invitation ideas (think wood veneer, imprinted dinner napkins, etc). The winner? A clear plexiglass invitation (1/8" thick)!
We used their blue colors and branding throughout. To ensure that the invitation stood out in the mail on the executive's desk, we placed the invitations in a beautiful navy mailing box wrapped with decorative paper to seal. The invitation was wrapped with the same decorative paper and sealed with a custom printed oval sticker. To protect the invitation in the mail, I placed fun shredded paper on top.
Finally, I created a custom designed RSVP website page for the executives to respond to the dinner. Hope you enjoy the photos! I'm excited for the next event!
