Black and White...and teal all over
I can't tell you how much I love black and white designed invitations with a pop of color. This teal really goes nicely with the black. When Maria and I met she really wanted a damask pattern. Working from that idea, I created a damask feeling pattern with abstract florals. I really love how the design turned out on the invitation and custom envelope I created. Together, we decided on a black pocketfold to really make the pattern and teal color come off the page. I love the classic way it looks but with a modern edge. We also included rehearsal dinner invitation cards (i.e. The Night Before) to those guests invited. Those who didn't receive the rehearsal invitation would never know since the card is the bottom of the four staggered cards. I can't wait to get started on the reception stationery!

Spring is in bloom!
I love the colors in this invitation...gold, silvers and blush pinks! And the monogram screams that spring is in bloom. Oh, how I love this season in Texas!

Whimsical bird invitations
The statement "Cocktails, dinner, dancing & ridiculous amounts of joy" on the invitation sums up the style for this set. Emily wanted a whimsical, fun and unique invitation to reflect their personalities.
The invitation set is staggered and affixed with a brad. She loves birds so I designed two love birds holding bells with the bride and groom's initials on it. The response postcard tears off so that the guest can easily drop it in the mail. The postcard also has fun bell wording to complement the theme (see image below to read wording).
Emily loves the letterpress look but didn't want to spend that much on printing. So, we did the next best thing. We digitally printed the set on Crane's Lettra cover stock. I love the look of the cotton paper! To finish the look, the envelope is lined with the matching yellow pattern from the invitation set.
