Indian Wedding Ceremony and BBQ Rehearsal Dinner!
Keya came to me with a wedding monogram ready to use and the colors of gold and purple for her Indian wedding to her fiance, Tom. She definitely knew what she wanted. From there, I designed a multi-page program attached with a brad so guests could easily scroll through the program. To save money (and to create a "wow" moment for guests when they walked into the reception), I created a seating chart placed on an easel, in lieu of escort cards. The seating chart led guests to their assigned table, which was named after the cities Keya and Tom lived (14 in all!).
Keya purchased chocolate elephants for the favors and had them placed on the plates. To sit alongside the favors, I created place cards and menus, which were backed by beautiful gold metallic cardstock.
Their rehearsal dinner the night before was just as fun...it was an Elvis-themed BBQ at The Salt Lick. Keya ordered gold record magnets as favors, which also doubled as escort cards. I created tags that were used as place cards and tied onto the "Elvis" eyeglasses. The table cards were old records with names of Elvis songs printed on them. Keya even purchased custom BBQ bibs for all the guests. Every detail was covered and it looks like it was a blast!
