Burlap wrapped invitation
When Sarah and I met to discuss her wedding stationery, including invitations, one thing stuck out in my mind. She wanted to include burlap as part of her linen selections at her wedding reception. Right away, I asked if she would be interested in including burlap in her invitation stationery. Answering a resounding "yes", I knew we were going to design a beautiful invitation together.
I designed the invitations with natural-looking flowers (different images on each card, but tied together with the same soft colors of sage green and pink). I chose a more formal script font for their names to elevate the invitation design a bit. To go with the natural feel, we used Kraft envelopes with a sage green lining. With the burlap wrapped and tied around the invitation, the directions and response card/envelope were neatly tucked beneath it. And voila! An organic invitation set with an elegant feel.

Save the date
Wedding save the date cards are becoming more and more popular as guests' lives are becoming busier and busier. If you want to ensure that your friends and family celebrate with you, save the dates are the perfect way to do so.
Save the dates can be anything from a simple card to a fun foldover to a magnet. If you are having a destination wedding, consider "airline tickets" as your save the date. Are you a big reader? What about sending bookmarks with your save the date details on it.
Whatever you decide to do, be sure to include your names, wedding date, the venue's city and the wording "invitation to follow" to be sure guests know that more details will follow. If you have a wedding website set up this is the perfect place to list it. Above all, get creative! Save the dates set the mood to your wedding. So have fun!

CulinART Invitations
I'm excited to announce that I'm the graphic designer for the upcoming March 11th "CulinART" event, which is produced by the Austin Chapter of the International Special Event Society to benefit The Wright House Wellness Center. This is my fourth year participating and I'll be designing everything from the invitations to the programs to the event stationery. Based on the fantasy theme of “Nature’s Labyrinth” and aspects of our planet’s four natural elements (earth, air, fire and water), I've included an image of the trifold invitation I designed. The event will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, silent, live and fine art auctions, and a four course plated dinner with chef demonstrations as part of the entertainment. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit

Holly's "Hill Country" Staggered Invitation
I designed this invitation for Holly who is getting married at her parent's ranch in the Hill Country. She wanted her invitation to have nature elements incorporated since that embodies where she is getting married. To keep all of the stair-step cards (monogram, invitation, RSVP and directions) together, I attached them with a decorative brad. The RSVP postcard is set up to be torn off and put in the mail by the guest.

GoGreenBedding Website
I am so excited to announce that the redesigned
http://www.gogreenbedding.com/ is live! The client was receiving tons of hits to her homepage but users left as soon as they saw her homepage. After months of this happening, she came to the conclusion that users saw her old website as unprofessional and cheap-looking. She sells high-quality, high-cost eco-friendly products and her website didn't portray that. I redesigned the entire site to be a bit more high end and my client is thrilled with the results! I also created an advertisement, which is currently running in
Austin Monthly Home.
